Happy 2011

Happy New Year!  I hope this year brings you nothing but joy and success!

On to a little bit of business...
Portrait pricing has changed a bit.  I have decided to include a print credit and requirement before mailing out the CD.  Let me explain why... I have learned over time having been a client at one point and now seeing the same from my clients, that if you don't get prints done up right away, that you end up not getting any at all.  Many of you hold onto the CD and miss out on the opportunity to hang beautiful portraits up in your home.  Trust me, I'm more than guilty of this.  Secondly, as a photographer, I take great pride in my work.  I put in a lot of time after the shoot is over making sure the images look their best.  Therefore, I would like you to benefit in seeing the final product in it's best form, from a professional lab.  Again as a client, I threw my CD in, uploaded the images to Walmart or Costco and went and picked them up an hour later.  I didn't know that there could be so much of a difference in quality until I began my journey as a photographer and started ordering prints from professional labs.  Let me just tell you... it's an amazing difference and I think you deserve this kind of quality!  You put so much time in preparing, picking out outfits, scheduling the time, and making the investment, I wouldn't want you to have anything less than fabulous!
So... when you are sent the link to your online gallery, pick out and order your prints.  They'll be delivered directly to you.  These come from a very reputable professional lab, Bay Photos.  Once the order has been placed, I will mail you your CD along with the rights to the images.
I look forward to seeing you (in front of the camera) this year!

For any of you interested, I've taken on the challenge to post a picture a day for the whole year!  It's a goal I began the end of 2009 and for one reason or another, I gave up and didn't finish out the year.  This year, I'm back and more determined than ever.  Know that it is a personal goal and will include personal posts.  But please, feel free to follow my work there too...
